PROJECT MANAGER (m/f/d)

SUMMARY

We are looking for a project manager to join our team and play a vital role in ensuring the flawless delivery of projects to clients. You will lead projects and provide clear and timely updates on their progress, making sure both team and client are on the same page throughout the project.

In our interdisciplinary and distributed organization, the ongoing development and improvement of our project management system for our studio and textile projects will be an important component of your daily work. You will be working directly with the general manager and gradually assume responsibility for processes and workflows.
The position is based in A Coruña, Spain with regular stays in Porto, Portugal.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management
  • Creation and maintenance of project timelines and plannings
  • Manage projects from beginning to end
  • Guarantee seamless communication between the team, collaborators and clients
  • Calculate costs and prepare budgets and quotes, define pricing and agree terms with providers and clients
  • Oversee and control all active projects in the organization

Organizational Development
  • Development of new project management processes for our studio and textile departments
  • Set up and introduce project management guidelines for the team
  • Improve and support the internal communication, establish and improve remote working tools and application


YOUR PROFILE

You have experience in the creative industry, the textile sector and/ or supply-chain management and are prepared to focus on quality and sustainability in your work. Planning and coordinating comes easy to you. You have an eye for detail and precise communication is your strength, both with teams and clients.

You are an analytical and conceptual thinker, self organized and have an independent working attitude. As in any small team, a proactive and general “hands on” mentality is required.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong communication skills, friendly and ambitious team worker
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities appropriately
  • Degree in a relevant field of study e.g. Business Administration, Design Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management
  • Experience in agency work or similar environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Pro in English, knowledge of German, French, Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
  • Your skills in MS Office, G Suite and PM Applications are strong
  • Drivers License

We work within two sectors: With the Montebelo Studio we specialise in art direction, graphic design, brand communication and photography for institutions and companies working at the cross-section of art, science and technology, that have a focus on sustainability. With Montebelo Textile we offer consulting, sourcing, technical design, product development and production management. We are experts in sustainable fashion, strongly connected with the new generation of textile producers. Our clients are forward-thinking companies and organisations.
